Dante Moreno
Manager
Dante has worked at Capitol Advocacy Partners for over 3 years and currently manages 7 of the firm’s 16 clients. She is committed to helping nonprofits, cities, and school districts receive the funding and support they need to to serve their communities. She is passionate about advocating on behalf of under-represented communities, especially the Latino community. Her energy and openness help her successfully forge relationships across Capitol Hill. She adeptly finds connections between her client’s needs and her counterpart's goals and tenaciously follows up.
Dante graduated from The George Washington University with majors in International Affairs and History with a specialization in Russia, and a minor in Russian language and literature. She spent her freshman year in Paris and the summer of 2019 in Russia funded by a Fulbright scholarship. Prior to CAP, Dante worked at several think tanks focused on Russia and the threat that biological terrorism poses to the United States, and on election campaigns.
Dante was born and raised in Los Angeles, California but currently calls Northern Virginia her home. She loves spending time with her dog, hiking, and watching baseball. Dante loves to travel and experience new cultures, foods, and experiences across this country and the globe (pictured in Morocco below). She is currently learning Italian as a fourth language to better communicate with her partner’s family and friends.
