Maggie Finn

Associate

Maggie Finn brings a unique blend of education and mental health advocacy to her role as an Associate at Capitol Advocacy Partners. A 2021 graduate of Suffolk University, Maggie earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Economics, laying the foundation for her multifaceted approach to community service.

Maggie's journey began in the classroom as an English teacher in Charlottesville, Virginia. It was here that she discovered her true calling: supporting mental health and driving policy change. Observing firsthand the challenges her students faced, Maggie realized the critical need for better mental health resources in schools.

This led her to NAMI Virginia, where she served as a Program Coordinator. In this role, Maggie wore many hats, providing crucial mental health training to teachers and offering free programs to adults and families across the state. Her work has helped to bridge the gap between education and mental health support.

With her passion for helping others and her dedication to making a difference, Maggie continues searching for new ways to improve mental health awareness, economic opportunity, and support in her community.

When Maggie isn't working, she is hanging out with her two rescue dogs, Hazel and Ruby.
